We would like to inform all our valued users that LicSystem (licsystem.com) experienced temporary performance degradation and reduced security stability on 18 November 2025 as a result of the major global Cloudflare outage.

 

Cloudflare is one of the world’s largest web infrastructure providers, and the outage caused widespread interruptions across thousands of websites globally. Since LicSystem relies on Cloudflare for critical layers such as content delivery, security protection, and traffic routing, our platform was also affected during this period.

What Impacted LicSystem

During the outage window, users may have noticed:

  • Slow page loading
  • Intermittent access errors
  • Delayed API responses
  • Limited availability of security filters
  • Temporary failures in our protective firewall layers

These issues were a direct result of Cloudflare’s internal configuration failure, not due to any compromise of LicSystem's servers or customer data.

Potential Security & Performance Risks During Such Global Outages

Although our systems remained secure, global outages like this can temporarily lower the effectiveness of external protection layers, increasing exposure to certain types of risks, including:

1. DDoS-Related Risks

During external firewall slowdowns, attacks such as:

  • Volumetric DDoS
  • SYN Flood Attacks
  • UDP Amplification
  • HTTP Flood Attacks

become more likely to impact system performance.

2. Bot & Automation Threats

Reduced bot-filtering layers may allow:

  • Credential Stuffing Attempts
  • Brute-Force Login Attempts
  • Web Scraping & Enumeration Bots

to reach servers in higher volumes.

3. Web Application Threats

Temporary degradation in WAF (Web Application Firewall) may reduce filtering accuracy for:

  • SQL Injection Attempts
  • Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) Probes
  • Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) Patterns
  • Path Traversal Attempts

4. Performance-Related Impacts

With CDN routing interrupted, websites may face:

  • Reduced Page Load Speeds
  • Higher Latency
  • Increased Origin Server Load

All of these symptoms were visible across many global platforms during the Cloudflare incident, and LicSystem had similar temporary effects.

Our infrastructure team continues working closely with Cloudflare to ensure uninterrupted service and long-term protection against similar issues.
